Usually I draw and then color with the help of some Adobe software. This time I colored digitally, printed, drew the black in with a Sharpie, and scanned it back in.

I didn't realllly mean to plagiarize him so badly. My drawing was for a field guide. It feels good to come clean. Brian Bolland is arguably the best line-drawer in the Batman world, and inarguably one of my favorite comic book artists ever. And seriously, if you've never read The Killing Joke, prioritize; it's the origin story for the Joker.
